The subject happens to be the smelting of lead and American business cannot do it cleanly-they've shown it historically and cannot do it with the regulations placed on them after that historical disaster. Plain and simple, we will just import it until things change.

Second Chance Store on Spenard Rd south of Benson: I picked up a new 110lb cast iron anvil there for about $100 a few yrs ago. Not really good quality but at least you would have something to pound on.
